MCS Bicycles Factory rider, Raul Gomez, has been racing BMX for 22 years. He has won many Florida State and National Championships in both the cruiser and expert classes. Currently, he races in the very competitive 40 and over classes. However this season, you will not see Raul racing his bike on the track because he will be on a mission to beat lymphoma cancer. At the beginning of 2012, Raul was diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Cancer. And like a true BMXer he is not giving up!!! He is determined to get the cancer into remission, come back stronger and do what he loves the most…RACE HIS BIKE! In a message to his BMX friends and family, he has asked for positive thoughts and prayers in exchange for feeling sorry for him. In true Gomez style he finished his message with…..

With this positive message, a donation fund has been set up to help Raul and his family with medical expenses. Show your support by donating $5.00 for a “I WILL WIN THIS RACE!” bracelet. And for every $10 donation you will get a bracelet and also entered into a raffle with the opportunity to WIN a MCS FACTORY TEAM complete bike. There will be additional raffle prizes added as we go along.
