UCI BMX World Championships, Taiyuan – China
This time Team MCS Europe was represented only by Montgomery “8thball” Bregita. "8th-ball" went to China with the dream to make it the finals! With all the effort and determination he made it and his new nickname has turned into "W8th-ball!"

UEC BMX Summerrace, Valkenswaard - The Netherlands
Last weekend was the UEC BMX Summerrace in Valkenswaard, The Netherlands. It was a perfect race weekend due to the help of an outstanding organization combined with one of the favorite race tracks. MCS Europe Team was represented by its riders Montgomery “8th-ball” Bregita and Zahur “Z-man” Fraai looking for a spot on the podium!

"8th-ball" had a great weekend, putting on a show battling with current Dutch cruiser Champion. 8-ball finished both days in 2nd place in the 30-39 cruiser class. "Z-Man" hasn’t done much practicing lately due to a very busy schedule but is still one of the biggest threats on the gate! A 2nd place for him in the 25+ class on Sunday.

Image Our man down under John McLaughlin sent us this update on the team in Australia. Having just completed their season, here's a recap on how they finished up...

Jacob Griffiths 1st  9 boys 20’’ he proved yet again that he is the champ by winning his age title yet again. Paull Mclaughlin 1st  30-34 men 20’’it has been long time coming he has had to settle for second a few times. But proved this year, that he was worthy of the number 1 plate. Tim Ward 3rd 40-44 men 24’’, great ride in only a hand full of rides back from retirement. He had won every heat and semi with ease, unfortunately got shut out in final and had to settle for third. Paull Mclaughlin 5th 30-34 men 24’’rode well in heats, got shut out in final and had to settle for the number five. Other results were, Ryan Henderson very very unlucky in both 20’’ and 24’’ going out in semi’s in both 15 boys and 15-16 boys 24’’ after proving almost unstoppable in heats. Ashlea Cragg very unlucky as well not qualifiying out of heats due to very hard fall in first heat.  Bit saw and sorry for remaining two heats of the 15 girls Shane Austin had a good ride in heats but was unfortunately knocked out in his 1/4 final of the 12 boys.
